Love of God Ministries is a non–denominational free church, biblical based. Bringing back God’s glory in people’s lives.
We are committed to serve our communities in the spirit of excellence with our God’s given gifts and talents.
We pursue the knowledge of God’s word (the holy scriptures) to grow in grace and in compassion of Christ towards our neighbor.
We are Christ’s Ambassadors and have received the ministry of reconciliation. Therefore, the love of Christ compels us to reach out for lost souls, and God is pleading through us on Christ behalf to the sinners, to be reconciled back to God.

The mission
Preaching the Gospel and making disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ in our Cities/ Nation (Switzerland). Our mission statement is to proclaim the kingdom of the Father (God), sharing the life of the Son (Jesus Christ), and bearing the witness of the Spirit (Holy Spirit).
To achieve this great commission and mandate, we engage in weekly sunday church services, mid-week bible studies/prayer meetings, evangelism/outreaches, compassion and humanitarian missions.
We unequivocally desire to accomplish our mission relying on God’s Grace and a total commitment to a Spirit filled fellowship with one another in love.
We are a family and a community of people united together by God’s love, growing together in a deeper personal relationship with our Father God. We are passionate about changing our world with unconditional love of God through the power of the Holy Spirit which is mightily at work in us.

Statement of Beliefs
God
There is only one God, the creator of all things, infinitely perfect in love, eternally existing in three manifestations (the trinity); Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is Lord, and a true God. Conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He was crucified on the cross, dead and buried, resurrected and became our complete final sacrifice for our sins according to the scripture. He bodily rose from the dead after three days and ascended into heaven at the right hand of the Father our majesty on high. He is our high priest and the visible image of the invisible God (Col 1: 15). He will come back to judge the living and the dead.
Holy Spirit
Man was created in God`s image and likeness, but man failed as a result of sin, therefore man fell short of God`s glory. It`s only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life with God be obtained through Jesus Christ. The Ministry of the Holy Spirit convict men of sin, regenerate believing sinners, indwell in them. Guide, instruct and empower them for godly living and service.
Salvation
The blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross and His resurrection was the only ground that provides justification and salvation for our sins. “For there is no other name given under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4: 12). But as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the children of God, to them that believes in His name (John 1: 12). Our faith and hope is on the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, we work in love waiting for the mercies of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life (Jude 21).
Baptism
The water Baptism by immersion is the practical demonstration and testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life in Christ.
Communion
This is a sacred memorial service of our Lord’s supper and a symbolic act of death of our Lord Jesus Christ. Only true believers should eat or share from this communion, because the scripture instructed us not to take the communion unworthily.
Resurrection
There will be a bodily resurrection of all those who died in Christ, and they will be eternally blessed filled with joy forever with the Lord, and the unbelievers will be judged, condemned and will face eternal punishment.
The Bible
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God (2 Tim 3: 16) and we believe that both Old and the New Testament writings of the Bible are complete revelations from God. Furthermore, we believe that the authority of the word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit brings salvation and also reveals God`s love to men, by faith in Jesus Christ (John 3: 16, Ephesians 3: 14-19).
The church
Composed of people who through saving faith in Jesus Christ regenerated by the Holy Spirit, joined together in unity to build a body of Christ called the Church. “He is also head of the body, the church, and He is the beginning, the first born from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything” (Col 1: 18).
MEET OUR PASTOR
John Michael Uche-Obi is an evangelist, founder and overseer of Love Of God Ministries (LOGM). Passionate about winning souls for Christ, teaching, helping them grow into maturity in Christ and becoming disciples.
My parents died when I was 10 years old, which left me with an emptiness and a broken heart. Consequently, as a teenager I felt fatherless, not loved, without identity. Until, in the year 1994 when I received a revelation of God as my father, which revolutionized my entire life perspective.
I am from Okpatu, Enugu State of Nigeria; a graduate of Geology from University of Nigeria. After my higher education in 2002, I relocated to Switzerland where I began a deeper committed relationship with God.
However, I grew spiritually and in the year 2008 I served in the Pastoral team as an assistant Pastor at (Christ Family Church Int.) Zurich. While serving in the Church as an assistant Pastor, I felt a stronger call of God in my life, therefore enrolled into International Seminary Of Theology and Leadership (ISTL) in 2009. Where I obtained a Bachelor of Theology in 2012, then was blessed, ordained and sent off to start my Ministry.
During John Michael`s early studies at International Seminary of Theology and Leadership (ISTL), he planted an outreach Ministry that brings the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in the street of Langstrasse (Kries 4 & 5).
A notorious street with lots of broken people, homeless, drug addicts, alcoholics and crime waves. John Michael obtained his Bachelor of Theology Honour (B.TH Hons.) from South African Theology Seminary in 2016, and presently a postgraduate Master student of (SATS).
